The New Bingo Call for Number 20 - As Voted for by You

It’s been a special year for us here at Jackpotjoy. Why? Because we’ve been celebrating our 20th birthday! From snazzy new bingo games to action-packed Cash Call events, we’ve been keeping the celebrations going with plenty of exciting ways to get everyone involved. After all, why should birthday celebrations only last one day? 

As part of the fun, we took to social media to ask our wonderful members to vote for a brand new bingo call for the number 20. While the traditional call of “One Score” is well-loved classic, we wanted to mark our birthday with a special ‘Jackpotjoy’ call created by the people that make us so great – our players!  

So, with a £150 Love2Shop voucher up for grabs for the winning call, we gave you five days to send us your suggestions on Facebook and Instagram and, with over 200 submissions on Facebook alone, it’s safe to say the creative juices were flowing.

Powered by coffee, our fabulous team managed to whittle down the whopping number of submissions to a shortlist of just four. We then asked you all to vote for your favourite and, with a landslide percentage of votes, the winning bingo call is (drumroll, please) …. 

“Let’s Win Plenty” 

Following the classic rhyming trend of many traditional bingo calls, “Let’s Win Plenty (Number 20)”, has quite a ring to it. And it seems a staggering 66.4% of you agreed, since the three other shortlisted submissions barely got a look in.

Creating a shortlist of just four submissions was a tough job, especially when we were sent some real gems. For example, “Wakey wakey, bread and cakey” really got us craving some birthday cake (lemon drizzle, anyone?). Here are just a few of the bingo-tastic submissions that didn’t quite make the shortlist:

It seems ‘plenty’ was a fan-favourite, with tens of submissions containing the rhyming buzzword.
