How to Play Signature Live Blackjack

This live casino game is played with eight regular decks of 52 cards.

Cards values are as below:

• Numbered cards 2-10 - worth their face value

• Jack, Queen, King - worth ten

• Ace - one or 11, whichever benefits your hand more

When the betting time is up, each player will receive one card face-up.

Blackjack

Blackjack is awarded when your initial two-card hand is worth 21 exactly, and will pay out 1.5x your initial bet.

Insurance

You can only purchase an Insurance bet if the dealer's face-up card is an Ace.

Insurance protects you in the case of the dealer achieving Blackjack, even if you also have Blackjack.

The cost of an Insurance bet is 0.5x your main bet.

Insurance bets and your main bet are settled individually.

• If the dealer has Blackjack, Insurance pays out at 2:1

• If the dealer has Blackjack and you don't, they win

• If the dealer doesn't have Blackjack, the game continues

• If you and the dealer both have Blackjack, the game ends in a 'push' and your stake will be refunded

Double Down

This feature adds another card to your hand, once your initial two cards have been dealt. 

Choosing to Double Down will also double your stake.

You cannot Double Down if your hand has been split.

Hit 

Hit adds another card to your hand.

You can Hit as many times as you like, as long as your hand doesn't exceed 21.

Stand

This lets the dealer know that you're happy with your hand and don't want any more cards.

Split

You can only Split if your initial two cards are of equal value.

Your hand will then split into two separate hands - a separate bet, equal to your first bet, will placed on each hand.

Both hands will then be dealt another card - unless the initial hand was a pair of Aces, you can Hit on each.

Each hand can only be Split once.

Outcome

If your hand exceeds 21, you will 'bust' and lose.

Once all players have revealed their first two cards, the dealer will reveal their second card:

• If their hand equals 16 or less, they must Hit

• If their hand equals a soft 17 or more, they must Stand

To win, the sum of your hand must be closer to 21 than the dealer's.

If the dealer busts, you will also win. 

Blackjack is worth more than a hand of 21 made up from three or more cards - it is also worth more than a hand of 21 that was originally a 'Split' pair.

Side Bets

The below Side Bets are available in Signature Live Blackjack.

Each Side Bet placed is combined with your main bet.

Perfect Pairs

There are three types of Perfect Pairs, which can only be placed if your initial hand is a pair:

21+3

The 21+3 side bet can be placed if your first two cards, and the dealer's up-card, forms one of the following combinations:

Malfunctions will void this round and the payouts. 

Bet Behind Feature

This lets you bet behind another player's hand, meaning you will share the outcome regardless if they win or lose.

Bet Behind payouts are the same as standard bets.

Select an active Bet Behind spot before the betting time is up.

If your chosen player does not participate in a round, your stake will be refunded; if they Double Down or Split, you also have the option to double your wager.

You cannot stop other players from betting behind your hand.

It's not possible to bet behind your own hand.

Hot Player

The Hot Players icon lets you know which player has the longest winning streak.

If the Hot Player loses a round, they'll also lose the Hot Players icon.
