Whenever a Scarab symbol shows up on the reels in the base game, its frame is locked on the reels in batches of 10 rounds.
The Wild Stays Charges Then Pays feature is triggered on the 10th round, transforming all Scarab frames into Wild symbols. The reels are then evaluated and all wins are paid.
On the following spin, the reels are reset and all Scarab frames are removed.
Scarab frames are remembered separately for each bet level.
